Edward S. Mocarski is emeritus professor at the Stanford University School of Medicine and professor in the department of microbiology and immunology at the Emory Vaccine Center, Atlanta.
Edward Mocarski pioneered cytomegalovirus (CMV) replication research and vaccine development studies, identifying latent and key replication functions. His recent research interest focused on viral subversion of the cell death pathways as well as host defense pathways.
